Hi,Tonight my heart goes out to a man named Mohammed Nawaz. He’s the Pakistan bowling allrounder whose loose ball outside the leg stump was shoveled to the boundary by Keshav Maharaj to give South Africa a thrilling one wicket win and virtually put Pakistan out of the world cup. All of Pakistan immediately began dumping on Nawaz. Overnight he has become a much reviled figure. He must be a very very lonely man. I feel like reaching out and giving him a hug, and say, to all Pakistanis, “It’s just a game. Get a life. The sun will rise tomorrow.”
